Privacy Notice

This Notice contains the rules applicable to the collection and processing of personal data by HygiCo, namely through its website www.hygico.pt. These rules do not replace any clauses that may be the subject of a specific agreement with any client, partner, and/or supplier. In such cases, this Notice may complement those documents, but will not replace them.

Data Subject and/or Client and/or User are terms used interchangeably in this Policy to refer to the holder of personal data. By providing HygiCo with their personal data, the data subject acknowledges and declares that they are of legal age and authorise the processing of personal data under the terms described herein.

a) Identification of the entity responsible for data processing

Instaclean Lda. — hereinafter referred to as HygiCo — with registered office at Estrada Nacional 356, 39-A, Casal do Quinta, 2440-025, Batalha, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Coimbra under registration and legal entity number 513920218.

b) Purpose of collecting personal data

HygiCo provides services in the area of rental and sanitisation of professional clothing. For this purpose, it needs to collect personal data for the following purposes:

1. To send marketing information to the Client, including newsletters to those who have requested them, provided that the Client has given consent and has not refused the use of their contact details for this purpose;

2. To contact the User who has completed and submitted a form, provided that the User has given consent to be contacted;

3. To prepare statistics that allow HygiCo to understand how it can improve the level of services it provides and, in this way, respond more effectively to users’ expectations;

4. The personal data collected is necessary for order processing and the delivery of goods.

c) Data to be collected

HygiCo will collect the user’s name, website, country of residence, email, telephone number, and occupation through the completion of forms made available in different areas of the website, or via email.

Information marked with an * in the forms is mandatory. Failure to provide information marked as mandatory will result in the inability to analyse the information and/or provide the requested services, as applicable.

Collection of data on open networks: the User is warned that information collected/sent over open networks may circulate on the network without security conditions, with the risk of being viewed and used by unauthorised third parties. Therefore, we recommend adopting additional measures when using the internet to transmit personal data, such as encryption, the use of firewalls, updated antivirus software, among others.

HygiCo will retain the data for the period strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Nevertheless, HygiCo may be required to retain certain data for a longer period in order to comply with legal obligations.

d) Right of access, rectification, and portability of your personal data

The data subject has the right to access, rectify, port, and delete their personal data at any time. The data subject may object to the use of their contact details for the purpose of receiving marketing communications from HygiCo.

All requests will be answered within a maximum period of 30 days.

e) Transfer of data outside the European Union

The data collected through the website is not transferred outside the European Union, where it is hosted, except when the user is located outside the European Union. Some third-party data processors do not operate within the European Union, so users should review their respective privacy policies (section n).

f) Hyperlinks (Links)

The HygiCo website contains hyperlinks (links) to other websites. HygiCo is not responsible for the privacy policies of those websites. Users of the HygiCo website are advised to consult the privacy policies of other websites when accessing them. This text refers only to the privacy policy applicable to the HygiCo website.

g) Data Security

Whenever sensitive information is collected or used, the data will be encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Thanks to the SSL protocol, which protects the transmission of all sensitive data over the Internet, all information is handled with the highest level of security. Your privacy is protected, and the risk of data interception during communication is eliminated.
